WHO ARE THE SCISSOR BROTHERS

EVERY SCISSOR WE CREATE CARRIES ITS OWN STORY

WE PROUDLY COMBINE THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS

World-class steel from the continent

Where generations of master forgers have perfected the art of creating razor-sharp, long-lasting blades.

Design and finishing here in Wales

Where creativity and craftsmanship come together to transform beautifully formed steel into something truly special.

Working with a network of artists, designers and fabricators

Each design is brought to life through an unmistakably Welsh creative lens, grounded in authenticity, individuality and attention to detail. From initial sketches in our studio to the final polish before shipping, every stage is guided by our belief that tools can be both functional and beautiful.

We never compromise on quality, because your craft deserves the very best. But beyond performance, our designs make a statement. Each scissor is a blend of engineering precision and artistic soul, not just a tool, but a piece of art that celebrates the passion, power and individuality of the stylist who wields it.

INSPIRATION & PROCESS

Collaboration is the craft

Every Scissor Brothers collection begins with an idea, a sketch, a fragment, a feeling, that’s shaped through collaboration, experimentation and obsession. We believe creativity doesn’t happen in isolation; it’s born in the spaces between artists, designers and makers who see the world differently.

Our collections are born from collaboration. We draw on the worlds of art, fashion and tattoo culture, working with visionary artists to create designs that inspire.

That’s also why we work hand-in-hand with local Welsh businesses, engineers and craftspeople, not just as service providers, but as true creative partners. People like Lunia3D, whose expertise in 3D modelling and precision prototyping helps us transform imagination into something tangible and Ffaith Marketing  who helped us shape our vision and turn it into something we are really proud of.

From concept to creation, we build relationships that go beyond transactions. The engravers, metalworkers and finishers we collaborate with across are part of the same artistic ecosystem, each contributing their own fingerprints to the final piece. It’s this shared commitment to creativity that gives every Scissor Brothers design its soul.

Our process is fluid, often unconventional. One day we’re sculpting handles inspired by the beauty of the human form, the next, refining blade curvature alongside a digital modeler or experimenting with surface finishes that catch light like sculpture. Every step is a dialogue, between artistry and engineering, local craft and global influence, myth and material.

Because for us, collaboration isn’t about outsourcing. It’s about alchemy, bringing together the best minds, materials and methods to create something truly original.

THE LEGEND OF THE SCISSOR BROTHERS

Some say they’ve met the Scissor Brothers. Some swear their blades were hand-forged by them. Others claim to have seen them once, at a fashion show on the outer reaches of beyond.

But no one really knows them. No one knows where their inspiration began or how far it goes. But one things for certain their scissors cut deep, and their legend cuts deeper still.

THE BROTHERS

Two figures who appeared in the creative underground, rumoured to have shaped looks, styles and shows across continents. Some say they worked with fashion houses, others that they vanished for years studying steelwork and sculpture. No one knows for sure.

THE CRAFT

Their obsession with scissors borders on alchemy. They don’t just cut hair, they cut through conformity, through mediocrity, through the noise.

A circle divided in half, one white half and one black half.

THE DUALITY

The Kiss and Muerto, two sides of one creative soul. Light and shadow. Beauty and decay. Art and precision. They are more than just tools, they are living, breathing entities, full of engineering precision and artistic soul.

No one really knows where the Scissor Brothers came from. Some say they were stylists to the stars, others claim they walked away from the high temples of fashion to chase perfection in the form of steel.

What we do know is this: they cut differently.

Somewhere between the valleys of South Wales and the neon haze of Tokyo, they forged their vision, blending the creative rebellion of homegrown artistry with the precision of world-class steel.

They don’t do interviews. They don’t appear in photos. But their work speaks for them - bold, beautiful, a little dangerous.

Every scissor they create carries a story: the raw energy of the forge, the meticulous lines of design, and the hand of an artist who refuses to follow the ordinary.

THEIR WORLD IS SPLIT IN TWO...

MUERTO

A whisper from the darker side of creativity, where shadows have style and silence has edge.

Together they form a mythology that’s part craftsmanship, part art, part legend.

And whether you believe the stories or not, one thing is certain, once you’ve held a pair of Scissor Brothers scissors, you’ll never want to cut with anything else.
